Arithmetic sequences and series

An arithmetic sequence is a sequence of numbers such that the difference of any two successive members of the sequence is a constant.

Example
2,4,6,8,10….is an arithmetic sequence with the common difference 2.
If the first term of an arithmetic sequence is a1 and the common difference is d, then the nth term of the sequence is given by:

An arithmetic series is the sum of an arithmetic sequence. We find the sum by adding the first, a1 and last term, an, divide by 2 in order to get the mean of the two values and then multiply by the number of values, n:

Example
Find the sum of the following arithmetic series 1,2,3…..99,100
We have a total of 100 values, hence n=100. Our first value is 1 and our last is 100. We plug these values into our formula and get:

In the match against India, the pitch was prepared to put Pakistan’s
batsmen and fast bowlers out of the contest. Pakistan could only be
able to score 118 runs in the limited 20 overs of the innings. India with
the classic batting of Virat Kohli managed to win the match by 6 wickets.
Against New Zealand, once again, Pakistan were unable to achieve the
match winning results Pakistan team is playing under the captaincy of
Shahid Afridi, ultimately he is the man with huge amount of experience
in his account. Along with the under performance by the Pakistani
players in the mega event there are managerial issues that have risen in
the mean time when Pakistan is in India. The controversies started with
the Shahid Afridi’s appreciation for his cricket fans in India, Pakistani
media criticized him and the team management after team’s defeat to
India went mad and they announced sacking Shahid Afridi from the
captaincy right in the middle of the tournament. The non-cricketing
people in the PCB are the major reason behind the extra pressure on
the team causing the under performance of the team in the mega even

A half century from Virat Kohli helped India beat Pakistan by six wickets at Kolkata's Eden Gardens in the World Twenty20 group match. Kohli hit an unbeaten 55 as India comfortably chased down Pakistan's total of 118 for five, reaching their target with 13 balls remaining in a match reduced to 18 overs per side because of rain.

How to Calculate CGPA?
CGPA stands for cumulative grade point average. The CGPA is a figure that reflects the grade point average for all classes you have taken and for classes for which you have received credit by means such as testing at your school/College/University.
School/College/university policies vary in the way they evaluate credit for courses transferred to your current school from another. Your university's registrar will have information about your university's policy.
To calculate your CGPA you need to know the total number of grade points you have earned and the total number of credit hours you have attempted. The virtual university CGPA also follows the same pattern of calculation.

Follow the below mentioned steps to calculate the CGPA:

Step 1.

Determine the total number of credit hours you have attempted. For example, after two semesters you might have attempted 24 credit hours. This figure can be found on an official transcript from your school.

Step 2.

Determine the total number of grade points you have earned. For example, you might have earned 72 grade points in two semesters. As with the number of credit hours attempted, this figure can be found on your school transcript.

Step 3.

Enter the number of grade points earned and credit hours attempted into the CGPA formula: Grade points earned divided by credit hours attempted equals cumulative grade point average. Using the example figures, this would be: 72 grade points earned divided by 24 credit hours attempted equals cumulative grade point average.

Step 4.

Apply the CGPA formula using the figures you have entered to calculate your CGPA. With the example figures, the CGPA is 3.0.

Remember :

The CGPA calculation tool provided here was designed to help you forecast your average and plan its progress. Calculations are strictly for information purposes. The responsibility for obtaining satisfactory grades in each of your courses and thus maintaining the required GPA is entirely yours. We encourage you to also use this tool to determine your eligibility for scholarships and bursaries and for graduate programs, or to chart a course for achieving your personal goals.

Here we have the formula as well:

CGPA=SUMMATION (summation)
(OF NUMBER OF CREDITS OF THE ith course of the
nth semester and grade points of the ith course of the nth semester) /summation (summation) number of credits of the ith course of the n th semester

What is GPA?

GPA is the ratio of the sum of the products of the number of credits of courses registered and the grade points corresponding to the grades scored in those courses, taken for all the courses, to the sum of the number of credits of all the courses in the semester.

CGPA will be calculated in a similar manner, considering all the courses enrolled from first semester

Restriction:

The CGPA does not form part of the student record for the Faculty of Medicine and most graduate studies programs.

RANSOM WARE Explained & How to stay safe?

By VUSukkurCampus

Friends ransom ware is basically a mall ware which attacks our "PC DATA" and it tries to encrypt our all personal data and lock it the hacker generates key and ask to give him the desired amount of money and he will provide you the key it is not sure that he will give the key after paying him. Means you are badly hacked.

So i am telling you guys guys some useful steps to stay safe from it.

Tips

1. Keep a backup hard drive so you can backup your data day by day or weekly.(note: do not connect that backup hard drive all the time with your pc)

2. Do not open any kind of email which have a attachment as for as you don't know that who sent it and what is in that attachment. (note: hackers mostly use email)

3. Don't download any .exe file from Internet because it can be a "ransom ware".

4. Keep your settings of your files to show its full extension. (note: ransom attack can be mp4.exe, avi.exe )

so you will think that you have downloaded a mp4 but by clicking it you will execute a mall ware attack.

5. Always keep turned on windows "FIREWALL" & also use a perfect Anti virus for your pc. (note: I recommend you Microsoft Security Essential for windows XP, 7 but in 8,9,10 it is named Windows Defender and included in it )

6. Don't turn on windows shearing option because of this your computer can be attacked by ransom attacker but other computers will also get effected.

7. If you thing that your computer got a ransom attack your computer is not working properly so the first step that you need to do is to disconnect your Internet because this attack needs Internet to be executed properly. By doing this you can protect your data by being encrypted.

So friends these are the tips that u wanted to share with you guys these are not all of them but mostly main wish can help surely. :)
